Make slide images: If selected, images are scaled to the selected image bounds and are placed in the slides subdirectory of the output directory. jAlbum filters, such as watermarks, are applied to the images.
Make thumbnails: If selected, thumbnails are created and placed in the thumbnails subdirectory of the output directory. jAlbum filters, such as watermarks, are applied to the images.
Fixed-shape: If selected, thumbnails are cropped to the dimensions of the jAlbum thumbnail image bounds.
Constrain aspect ratio: If selected, thumbnails retain the aspect ratio of the original images, but are cropped if necessary to remain above the minimum value selected and below the maximum value selected. This can be used to generate thumbnails for panoramic images and exceptionally tall, skinny images with less extreme aspect ratios than the originals, while still allowing more normal images to produce thumbnails in their original aspect ratios.
Min aspect ratio: The minimum aspect ratio for constrained thumbnails.
Max aspect ratio: The maximum aspect ratio for constrained thumbnails.
Copy originals: If selected, the original images are copied from their source locations to the output directory.
If none of these options is selected, the output consists solely of a directory skeleton that replicates the folder structure of the project.
Exclude unsupported objects: If selected, any unsupported objects in the image directory are excluded from all processing. This refers to PDF's, audio files, web pages, and so on - in short, anything that isn't an image or a video.
Write file metadata to xmp: If selected, the metadata embedded in an image file will be written to the xmp metadata fields. If, for example, your images have comments in the IPTC Caption field, and you have chosen IPTC Caption as the Comment source under Album » Settings » Advanced » Metadata, this option will write those comments to the xmp.dc:description[1] field of the image file. Unlike most changes, this actually applies to the image file that is sitting in the project's image directory, i.e., the input to the album process. If you also choose to have the skin produce slide images and/or to copy the originals to the output, and you have selected Include xmp metadata in generated images under Album » Settings » Advanced » Metadata, the output images will also contain this newly-written xmp metadata.
