Because of some peculiarities in the way jAlbum handles videos, including videos in a
NoPages project produces some odd results.
- If video support is turned on under Tools (jAlbum in OSX), Preferences, Advanced, regardless of the skin settings, any video will be processed and will be placed in the slides subdirectory of the output directory, along with a scaled preview image for the video.
- If video support is turned off, the original, untouched video is copied to the root of the output directory if Make slide images or Copy originals is chosen. No preview image is produced regardless of settings.
- If you subsequently use a processed video as input to another jAlbum project, it should not be processed again. If you add a processed video to another project, right-click on the thumbnail representing the video and choose Do not re-encode to avoid having it processed again.
